"The Love Hypothesis" by Ali Hazelwood

Ahhh! Where do I even begin?

For like the last 2-3 years, I was in a slump, when it came to reading any romance or rom-com novels. And I'm not sure why, but I just was not moved to read them. But over the last few weeks I've been seeing a lot of my "bookstagrammers" posting books by Ali Hazelwood, and then walked into Target seeing the shelves fully stocked with "The Love Hypothesis"- and I knew that was a sign. This book was exactly the warm welcome that I needed back, into the world of rom-com. Ali's style of  writing is a complete breather; it's funny, witty, romantic, sensual... every scene and the dialogue will take the reader to a new place. It was the escape that I've been missing for a while.

The story of Adam and Olive were memorable- and is going to stick with me for a while. I absolutely fell in love with Adam's character; his patience, but stubbornness at the same time, his demeanor, the dimples (haha), and the way he fell in love with her. Ugh, loved. He was easily my favorite character. But with that being said- Olive was more personally relatable to me; her personality, the smart- witty comebacks, the shyness around Adam at times- literally me, in literary form.

I was sooooo happy when they finally got on the same page, and just let everything go in the wind- and just be, and just be in love. Also, the "spicy scenes": LOVED. Ali had a way of literally writing to make the reader feel like they were actually there themselves. Omg.

This novel definitely is going into my lifetime "Top 25" list of books. And I immediately went and ordered all the rest of her books that she has out, and going to pre-order her new novel this weekend. I'm quickly jumping on the fan-club train, off the strength of this book alone.

Thank you Ali for bringing the funny and sassy romance back to my literary world!

I would definitely recommend this novel, and would give it a 5/5 stars.
