I truly enjoyed this book. Charlie and Annabel were incredible together, amidst the extreme denial of feelings. I really like how we got a good build up between the two of them, before things really took off; it gave us room to connect with them and understand who they were individually. 

This book had the classic, stuck in the elevator trope. Friends with Benefits. He falls first (because I truly think he was head over heels, WELL before Annabel realized anything.) Friends to lovers. Found Family... After getting trapped in an elevator Charlie pursues Annabel and they decide to begin a "friends with benefits" relationship. But the longer they're together- watching movies, going out on dates, and getting to know each other- those feelings really start taking shape.

And let me add, the single rose scene had me absolute SWOONING #melt. This was passionate, funny, and a nice splash of spice involved. I highly recommend adding this to your shelf; available Dec. 15th!
