Deviant King, Steel Princess, & Twisted Kingdom- by Rina Kent
so by this point, you should have gathered that Rina is my favorite author and most read author to date. my problem is- i don’t follow rules and suggestions most times, so i usually don’t read her books in order. (i know, i know!) but i do follow the reading order when it’s a duet or trilogy. alas- here we are: i started the Royal Elite Series this past weekend, and i DEVOURED the first three books, and the only trilogy within the series.
we have Aiden and Elsa- and i was completely invested in their story. what made this even more special, was i had just finished God of Pain right before reading this, which features Creighton and Eli, their sons, as well as quick appearances from both Aiden and Elsa. so it was nice reading how their story came to be… after reading, i did skim God of Pain again to refresh on a few scenes that they were all in.
but back to the featured stories! this trilogy doesn’t miss!
aiden is a lunatic, in the best and sweetest ways, and elsa challenges him in every way. their backstory and their love story is something heartbreaking, but also special and pure. this trilogy has so many twists and turns, emotional moments, their friends definitely provide comedic relief, and you already know the heat and spice is all the way up.
i will forever be in love with everything i read by rina kent- but these two are something in a league of their own. i can’t wait to read the rest of the stories in this series!
*my goal is to one day have ALL the physical copies of her books, the special editions AND the standard editions. right now i’m all for the special editions because of the artistic designs and elements. but i definitely need them all. haha!*
