Black Knight, by Rina Kent

back with another review, of another poetic masterpiece by rina kent.

now- by this point we ALL know how much i LOVE her books- but this particular book SHATTERED me and broke my heart, before touching it so beautifully.

it wasn’t dark in the sense that most of her other books are, but emotionally- it was definitely the darkest, in my opinion.

my heart broke for Kimberly soooo many times while reading this book; everything that she was going through on the outside, and everything she was battling internally. i do appreciate how rina does not shy away from the rawness when dealing with any mental health issues- we can see it in its pure form, which makes these books even more authentic.

xander was dealing with his own issues, and seeing how the person he fought with the most was his own inner-self was wrecking me.

i do love how we got their back story, then saw them completely fall apart and to their own personal lows, and then blossom into even stronger people- individually and together.

it’s so many people who are going through similar situations, and i hope they have at least one person out there who, know matter what’s going on, will be there to catch them when they fall
