The Stopover, by T L Swan
Jameson and Emily are literally the perfect match; both are stubborn, independent, and love HARD. Often times throughout the book, they were giving me whiplash, but in a good way. The banter was perfect and the passion was poetic.
I was so glad that Emily really made Jim work for it at the end, even though a couple times I was screaming “girrrlllllll!” at some of the things she would do and say. (And with certainty I am going to crack up laughing when I see yellow roses, because she really maxed out- but rightfully so, because I would’ve went ape-sh*t after the stunt Jim pulled in the airport.)
This book definitely gave the vibe of an angsty, early/mid 2000s rom-com, and i LOVED every minute of it. The push and pull, the dynamic, the banter- a perfect read. (and I just ordered the rest of the series, because now I’m invested in ALL of the brothers and what’s going on with them. Ha!)
