Malachi, by Grey Huffington

This was my first full novel by Grey Huffington (I've read a few of her novellas.) 

I'm so glad I picked this one up! Malachi and Aeir definitely balanced each other out, and she became his peace and safe place when he needed her the most. I do wonder if they had met under different circumstances, would he have been drawn to her as quickly as he was. And with the ending, because of his line of work- I would've loved to see a lot more action and "get back." 

But either way, the dynamic was believable and definitely persuaded me to getting the rest of the books in the series.
