Milo, by Grey Huffington

I'm cruising right along with this series, and loving every word.

Milo was a HANDFUL. But I didn't hate him lol. I think both him and Nature had a lot of unresolved trauma and issues, and had to get through it in their own way, at their own pace.

There were a lot of moments though, where I was completely ready to chuck my book at Milo, more so during the beginning of the novel. Just certain things, as a woman, I felt should have been common sense. BUT, I also know some things weren't made abundantly clear to him, so he moved accordingly, based on what was made clear. But still, SIR. (But Nature showing up to his place after leaving her date was NASTY WORK, but the necessary get-back, and put a little fire under him.)

I'm glad when Nature finally just put it all on the table, and really forced him to get his sh*t together, because LORD. I was stressed out.

I think Zane was a sweet addition, but if you ever dated anyone even close to Milo, you know Zane was just the stand-in, the safe route, until what she really wanted was available.

And Christina... let me tell you: she would've been knocked off EARLY.

I was a little baffled that Nature responded the way she did at the wedding. I personally would have cleared sis, turned her every way but loose, fixed my makeup, and then kept things moving.

When Milo committed to doing right by her and pursuing her correctly, he really got down to business; so I wouldn't have faulted him over some pressed loser. But I get it added a little bit more drama, so eh.

I'm glad they FINALLY got their happy-ending though, after all that they went through, it was about time.

Now, it's time to see what "Mercer" has in store for me! (Makai is still my favorite though, as it should go without saying!) 💕
